Equipping a gym is not buying machines.

Equipment

We work with clients who:

From a training corner at home to a full training floor or a distribution network.

  1. Want to open a gym from scratch

Turnkey project: floor plan, complete equipment package and start-up.

  2. Already have a gym and want to expand or renovate it

New training zones, machine replacement and floor redesign without stopping operations.

  3. Want to become distributors

Wholesale programme: catalogue, distributor pricing and commercial support to resell the equipment we import.

  4. Have a special project

Hotels, residential complexes, clinics, rehabilitation centres, armed forces, construction companies and sports centres.

  5. Want to train at home

Home equipment chosen for the space you actually have, delivered and installed anywhere in the country.

Most common mistakes

Where the money is lost.

It is almost never lost on the price of the machine. It is lost around it.

  1. In logistics

Freight, customs and delivery times miscalculated. The equipment arrives late and the gym opens late.

  2. In choosing suppliers

Suppliers with no backing, no spare parts and no service. The machine that breaks in month eight stays broken.

  3. In buying equipment you do not need

Machines that fit neither the space nor the client. They take up floor and nobody uses them.

We learned all three by making them. Twenty-two years in this market are good, above all, for keeping them off your project.

The difference

An equipment supplier is not the same as a project partner.

What changes is not the machine: it is everything that happens before and after it arrives.

The comparison is against the most common way of buying equipment in this country: someone who quotes, invoices and ships. There are serious suppliers who cover part of this list; what is hard is finding one who covers all of it.

How we work

The floor plan first, the invoice after.

  1. 01

    We learn the business

Available space, budget, the kind of client you serve and where you want to take the business. Without that, any quote is a guess.

  2. 02

    We design the floor plan

Space layout and equipment selection tailored to your floor. You see how it works before committing a peso.

  3. 03

    We import and ship

Direct imports, our own warehouse and nationwide delivery. One owner for freight, customs and real timelines.

  4. 04

    We install and answer

Start-up, spare parts in stock and certified technical service. The relationship starts at delivery, it does not end there.

Who advises you

Carlos Lara.

Carlos Lara is a co-founder of MoviFiT, the leading company in Colombia’s fitness market, with more than 22 years of experience building, scaling and leading companies in this industry.

Along the way he has taken an active part in growing and developing several businesses in the sector, learning first-hand how fitness companies evolve and what they need in order to scale sustainably.

That experience is what goes into your project: the mistakes have already been made — in logistics, in suppliers, in equipment nobody needed — and today they exist so you do not repeat them.

We take the trouble to understand the client’s business in detail and what they actually need, not what is easiest to sell.

Questions

What people always ask us.

Do you design the floor plan or only sell the equipment?
We design the floor plan. Before quoting we go through the measurements of the space, the circulation and the training zones, and we propose the layout and the equipment on top of that. It is the part that saves the most money and the part almost nobody does.
Do you only work with large gyms?
No. We serve everything from a home training space to chains, hotels, clinics, rehabilitation centres, armed forces and construction companies. What changes is the size of the project, not the way it is handled.
What happens if a machine breaks?
We keep spare parts in stock and have certified technical service. That is the whole point: importing is easy, answering three years later is the hard part, and it is what decides whether your investment keeps paying off.
Do you deliver outside Bogotá?
Yes. We ship nationwide from the distribution centre, we have branches in Bogotá and Pereira, a distributor network across Colombia, and clients in 26 cities around Latin America.
How much does it cost to equip a gym?
It depends on the space, the kind of client you plan to serve and whether you are starting from scratch or renovating. That is why we do not publish a figure: in the first conversation we go through your case and a real number comes out of it, logistics included.
How can I become a distributor?
Message us on WhatsApp with your city and how you operate today. The distribution network has different terms from those of an end client and it includes spare parts and service backing.
Who will I be talking to?
With the MoviFiT team, and on projects that call for it, with Carlos. The same team that reviews the project is the one that later delivers it.
