Track record
Carlos’s own figures, not a market study.
Equipment
From a training corner at home to a full training floor or a distribution network.
Turnkey project: floor plan, complete equipment package and start-up.
New training zones, machine replacement and floor redesign without stopping operations.
Wholesale programme: catalogue, distributor pricing and commercial support to resell the equipment we import.
Hotels, residential complexes, clinics, rehabilitation centres, armed forces, construction companies and sports centres.
Home equipment chosen for the space you actually have, delivered and installed anywhere in the country.
Most common mistakes
It is almost never lost on the price of the machine. It is lost around it.
Freight, customs and delivery times miscalculated. The equipment arrives late and the gym opens late.
Suppliers with no backing, no spare parts and no service. The machine that breaks in month eight stays broken.
Machines that fit neither the space nor the client. They take up floor and nobody uses them.
We learned all three by making them. Twenty-two years in this market are good, above all, for keeping them off your project.
The difference
What changes is not the machine: it is everything that happens before and after it arrives.
| What the project includes | Equipment supplier | Carlos Lara · MoviFiT |
|---|---|---|
| Floor plan and space layout before you buy | No | Yes |
| Equipment chosen for your business, not for what is in the warehouse | No | Yes |
| Direct imports: freight and customs under a single owner | No | Yes |
| Own warehouse and distribution centre in Colombia | No | Yes |
| Spare parts in stock and certified technical service | No | Yes |
| Installation and start-up of the training floor | No | Yes |
| Medical and rehabilitation lines alongside fitness | No | Yes |
| Support after delivery, not only up to the invoice | No | Yes |
| A way into a distribution network to resell | No | Yes |
The comparison is against the most common way of buying equipment in this country: someone who quotes, invoices and ships. There are serious suppliers who cover part of this list; what is hard is finding one who covers all of it.
How we work
Available space, budget, the kind of client you serve and where you want to take the business. Without that, any quote is a guess.
Space layout and equipment selection tailored to your floor. You see how it works before committing a peso.
Direct imports, our own warehouse and nationwide delivery. One owner for freight, customs and real timelines.
Start-up, spare parts in stock and certified technical service. The relationship starts at delivery, it does not end there.

Who advises you
Carlos Lara is a co-founder of MoviFiT, the leading company in Colombia’s fitness market, with more than 22 years of experience building, scaling and leading companies in this industry.
Along the way he has taken an active part in growing and developing several businesses in the sector, learning first-hand how fitness companies evolve and what they need in order to scale sustainably.
That experience is what goes into your project: the mistakes have already been made — in logistics, in suppliers, in equipment nobody needed — and today they exist so you do not repeat them.
We take the trouble to understand the client’s business in detail and what they actually need, not what is easiest to sell.
